Who are we?
Exotic food, wonderful company, a truly global experience surrounded by friends and family. A chance to meet and get to know some of the most interesting people in Central Ohio and experience a menu to fulfill a foodie’s dream. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Oh, did we mention, it’s all in your own home!
Ethiopian Tewahado Social Services (ETSS) presents their FOOD AMBASSADORS program. The culinary artists come from across the globe and bring with them cuisines from all corners of the world. They are excited to share their stories, their histories and their talents. When you host a dinner, not only do you share authentic foods of Ethiopia, Haiti, Nepal, Macedonia, Ghana (to name a few), but also raise awareness of the work of ETSS while supporting their programs and services.
Each season we will feature the cuisine from two areas of the world (although we do entertain special requests). We encourage you to make your reservations early as our weekend dates book quickly! Although some prep work takes place before the dinner, most of the cooking happens in your own kitchen, allowing you and your guests the opportunity to mingle and make new friends while watching the culinary magic unfold! Once completed, everyone gathers around the table to share great food and stories to delight your appetite!
How do you get involved?
We’ve found most parties bring together a dozen guests plus the chefs to make for a festive, engaging and dynamic dining and learning experience. The more the merrier, however, so if your table seats 16 or 20, that’s fine too.
Please feel free to inquire about other opportunities such as corporate events or larger gatherings! We’ll work with you to make it happen!
We invite you, our friends in Central Ohio, to meet our friend from around the world for an evening of fun, food and good works!
