In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations, also known as gifts in kind, are a form of charitable giving where goods and services are donated directly instead of money. These differ from cash or stock donations. While some in-kind gifts are suitable, others may not be. Examples include items like food, clothing, medicines, furniture, office equipment, and building materials. Additionally, services such as office space, administrative support, and other professional services can also be considered in-kind donations.

Stock or Wire

Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRA
If you are at least 70½ years old, you may make a qualified charitable distribution from your individual retirement account (IRA) without paying additional taxes. For those age 73 and above, a qualified charitable distribution to ETSS Tewahedo Social Services fulfills your annual required minimum distribution (RMD). Contact your financial advisor to make a gift to ETSS (EIN 20-3525591).
Donor-Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund is one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity. As you make annual disbursements from your donor-advised fund, consider ETSS (EIN 20-3525591) in your giving plan.
